01
We Practice Compassionate ABA.
-
We see our learners as children, not clients. Children need love, support, compassion, and fun! A strong relationship is the key to treatment success and we will build relationships, not damage them.
-
We respect a learner’s right to assent to treatment AND to withdraw that assent throughout a session - and we will honor it.
-
We will not utilize restrictive or punitive interventions, and we don’t restrain learners as a planned intervention.
-
If a learner is seeking connection (attention) that’s ok - we’ll happily oblige. If they need to stop doing something (escape) that’s just fine. We can work through these things, build tolerance, and increase skills over time.

02
Learners and parents are the Leaders of the treatment team, not just members of it!
-
The learner sets the pace. One learner’s session doesn’t have to look the same as another’s.
-
There are many ways to accomplish the same goal - the learner can choose what works for them (settings, materials, type of interventions, etc.)
-
We work on what matters to the Learner and their family, and we collect social validity data along the way to make sure we’re on the right track.

03
We Respect & Celebrate Neurodiversity
-
We’re not trying to “cure,” remove, or mask Autism.
-
We’re here to help learners gain skills that matter to them, to be able to do things they care about (not what we care about).
-
We don’t need to eliminate behaviors that aren’t causing a problem (stimming is welcome!)
-
We look for ways to change the environment (and ourselves) to be more accommodating to the Autistic person, not the other way around.

04
Parents Are VIP’s At Possibilities
-
Parents are welcome any day, any time, without an appointment, to any part of treatment, in whatever way they feel comfortable.
-
Parents have access to read, review, and sign every note, and look them up again later in their portal.
-
Parents have access to data, graphs, and treatment documents and questions are wanted!
-
Parents are invited and encouraged to participate in any way they can, including Class Dojo, weekly newsletters, joining outings, etc.

The Possibilities are Endless
